Green Man in 600 block of Kater Street

Here is another verdant sculpture on a private little street in Queens Village. I'm starting to wonder if the green man motif is a sort of code, communicating a respect for nature and Earth that the inhabitants within possess. There is no secret Mason-like society, only a loose affiliation bound by lament and hope that man might live a more enlightened, humble, and harmonious life with the rest of the living planet.
